Just had this beer last night and wanted to post about it. This barrel aged sour from Bottle Logic in Anahiem is bursting with mouth puckering flavor. It has a deep dark red/purple hue. It is a sour beer and so it has the slight “funk” smell that these beers have but the berries are cutting through to make it a nice aroma. This is a crisp beer in mouthfeel that comes in at a modest 5.2% ABV so it can be enjoyed in quantity. I would give this beer a 8.5 out of 10. Rumor has it that Bottle Logic changes the type of fruit used in this sour each month so I am looking forward to trying other variations and reporting back.
