For our second Tap House of the Month installment, we set our sights on Out of the Park Pizza. They currently have two locations in the Orange County area, but we will be dialed in on the Buena Park location for our review.
Out of the Park Pizza
- Boasting 42 rotating taps of craft beer goodness, this is a great spot to grab a flight and sample the areas many varieties. With a steady line of local beer fans the lineup is always kept fresh. The selections are robust and all the styles are in play. Whether you are looking for a lager, pils, IPA, Stout, or Sour, it’s all here. Even fans of Ciders and Barleywines can grab a glass. They regularly feature local breweries like Bottle Logic, Noble Ale Works, and The Bruery. Other California notables regularly featured include Knee Deep, Karl Strauss, Ballast Point and Stone. This is location is also a great spot for the family or a team party. Or get away in the more secluded 21 & over area. There are a couple of billiard tables and they will even breakout the cornhole boards upon request. They also have a game room for kids to go wild in with ticket redemption. There are two areas where private parties can be reserved. Big Screens are found throughout all areas and they have specific locations for all games during the NFL season. During the games you will find Happy Hour specials going most times.
There is also Wednesday Trivia Night where you can win discount coupons and free food. Speaking of which, it’s time to turn our attention to the kitchen. The highlight here is the bevy of craft pizzas. Ranging from the Stephen Colbert (The Most American Pizza Ever… Pepperoni), the Chuck Norris (Buffalo Chicken, Bacon, Avacado, and Ranch), the Fried Egg Monster ( all the meats and fried eggs) to the Texan (Sweet Chili, Chicken, Avacado, and Ranch), there is no shortage of unique pizza. A nice choice of wing flavor a with healthy portions for those fans as well. A nice variety of food for everyone.
