Kronenbourg 1664 White Ale

I don’t usually do white ales (wheat ales) but I figured why not.  The name got my attention and wanted to try the beer from France.  Being a White Ale, the appearance was unfiltered and hazy, the color was an appealing palewhite ale yellow with a nice thick foamy head that left behind some very nice lacing.  The smell of the ale was fresh and citrusy with plenty of fruity notes including peach.  A taste of fresh lemon with coriander led the way and had well balanced bitterness.  I thought it went well with my spicy sausage and red pepper diner.  If you are a White Ale drinker let me know which ones I should give a try.
